Here are two different sized knives of similar design. Both have a ball-end handle with multiple brass pins and D2 blades that have been flat ground. The blades have a slightly aged appearance achieved by lightly etching them. Both sheaths are rawhide wrapped with deerskin fringe and period style adornments. On the fringe you will find glass trade beads, reconstituted amber beads, tin cones (aged) and horsehair. The welt of the sheath is protected with cut copper tacks.

This first knife has a stabilized quilted maple handle. Although I am unable to capture it on film this wood has an almost iridescent look in the sunlight.

This one has a very nicely figured walnut handle.
