This knife was made using a reclaimed horseshoe rasp. The handle is elk antler with a rawhide wrap. The handle was hand carved and dyed.
The sheath is deerskin rawhide over veg. tanned leather liner. The medicine wheel on the front is porcupine quillwork that I made and laced onto the sheath with deerskin. It has buckskin fringe with glass and brass beads and tin cones. In addition to the linen cord stitching there are aged cut copper tacks along the welt.
This knife weighs just under 7 ounces without the sheath. The overall length is 10 5/16". Blade length (from tip to front of handle) is 5 1/4".
